Last weekend it took place the XXVIII Spanish Championship OF Anchored Boat in Bahia de Algeciras. The competition, successful in both participation and captures, had two arms of three ours each (morning and afternoon) and left the Catalan team in the third position (bronze medal), after the Murcian and Balearic community. The Catalan success was completed with the second position in the individual category of Josep Maria Prat, current champion of Cataluña, who made again an exhibition only beaten by the Balearic Pep Alós. The sportsmen of Badalona, Quim Arqué and Josep M Lleida of the CPE Badamar made a good competition, doing firsts and seconds of boat in its respective arms, in a competition with more than 96 high level sportsmen. More than 750 Kg of fish were given to Caritas and the Food Bank as it is always done in official competitions. This Sunday, May 20^th, the competitions of Badalona come again with the second Social Competition of Anchored Boat. The place to do it is free but the boat will have to be completely anchored during the fishing action. The competition, starts, as always at 7 am and ends at 2 pm with an aperitif. The captures will be given again to the Food Bank.

This Sunday, May 13^th there will be the celebration of the 33^rd edition of the Devil Race, organized because of the May Festivals of Badalona. The devil race has three different routes: 1800m for the mini (until 10 years old), 4000m for the medium (from 11 to 14 years old) and the big one, 10000 m (from 15 years old). The three races begin and end in la Rambla de Badalona, and in total there has been more than 3000 registrations. The big race, which follows the red circuit, will pass through the port, where there will be a provisioning point for all the participants.
