MONDAY 14 INDUCTS THE URBANISATION OF THE PLAZA OF THE HOTEL, THAT WILL CONNECT THE MARITIME WALK WITH THE PORT

From Monday September 14, 2020, will shut the fit at the dry dock since the Maritime Walk, as a consequence of the onset of the works of urbanisation of the plaza of the Hotel Port. At this case the calendar a priori is that the communication among the maritime walk and the port will be ended up at ends of the month of November. The two works form part of the last phases of the posed at kick of the hotel, foreseen for the first quarter of 2021.

START OF PROVISIONAL ROUND WORKS TO PROMOTE MOBILITY AROUND THE PORT HOTEL

On Monday 17 August, work will begin on the construction of a temporary roundabout that will be built at the northern entrance to the Port to encourage mobility around the hotel, which is scheduled to start operating in the first quarter of 2021. It’s a temporary solution until the final distribution of traffic management is executed with the construction of the railway bridge and a final roundabout and is enabled to provide space for parking maneuvers and accessibility to the hotel for collective vehicles, public and private services that go to the hotel establishment, while not affecting the mobility of accesses to the port area. The forecast of the works, which will affect the operation of the barriers, is set at three weeks. The improvement has been scheduled during the central weeks of August as the month of activity and in no case will it mean the interruption of traffic, although at some stage it may involve the alternative passage by directions of travel.

MORE THAN 60 EXPERIENCES BASED ON THE PORT ENCLOSURE, LIKE ANY OTHER SUMMER DESTINATION

We have ordered of the portal www.experienciesportbadalona.com some 60 sports, leisure and gastronomic proposals that are offered based on the Port of Badalona, with which we want to attract, first of all, the local and metropolitan public to enjoy a leisure space that can be assimilated to any other summer destination during this season. This initiative presents the port area as a destination to enjoy vacations in a safe and free environment. Share, as you well know, or perhaps not, that there are sailboats that offer different types of outings; motor proposals with jet skis as the most popular product, as well as the fly board; proposals in kayak; Navigation in the Ciutat Badalona ketch, ... The campaign is aimed especially at the local and metropolitan public in a summer in which the trips to spend the summer will be less, but it is also aimed at the national or foreign tourist who travels to Barcelona and Badalona and who find in the port area leisure and experience offers. In the mini-site, you can find about twenty promotional resources, whether digital channels -such as the banner on the Badalona City Council website or through social networks-, paper-based products -such as business cards, posters on the main commercial hubs and placemats for the restaurants on the premises- and outdoor advertising elements -such as banners, buses, mupis and columns and the LED screens that will spread and display the campaign from July to September. The range of resources seeks to reach and bring the maximum of citizenship to enjoy the sea - not just the beach, take the leap - and combat the concept of practicing sports and nautical activities as elite proposals, to check and validate that they are affordable and competitive with respect to other leisure proposals, and that they provide novel experiences and sensations in a free and safety environment. #EnElMarDistanciaSocialXInfinito
